It is back to school season. School districts are announcing their plans for this school year to keep staff and children safe.
In our practice we have seen only a handful of positive COVID-19 tests. We have a very low incidence in our area for children. These numbers seem to hold up statewide and even across the nation. Children don’t seem to be as effected by COVID-19.
Realizing kids aren’t going to be as effected by COVID-19, we are recommending in person school as much as available. Kids need to have the social interaction, academic stimulation and physical exercise that school provides.
